Thanks cherrypicked for your pearl of wisdom. It adds to my understanding of this incredibly complex sport. I had very impure thoughts like favoritism for the defending champ, or that it somehow affected betting. There are certainly inequities; eg its OK for Cavendish to headbutt, but Renshaw gets put out of race; (maybe its OK if you fall off afterwards).
Greipel's a chimp rather than a gorilla. Every time I put him in he fails to score.
Plumped for Eddie Boss.....let's see if he can make the 10 points up over the remaining 3 stages
Damn....didn't get to see the stage yesterday OR any news about it and may have only had a few minutes for transfers this morning....now I've made them and works settled down I see this......
Penalty for Stybar it'll have to be
Exactly the same as me
Totally agree that you have to use the official site. But what criteria do organisers use to say the rider finishes the stage. Stybar was definitely going into the ambulance. And I saw a Katusha rider wheeling Porsev's bike over the finish line. Maybe that's it; your bike just has to make it. Weird.
inrng says there is a rule if you crash in the last km then you get put to end of finishers and are allowed to start the next stage. Not sure if its this race only or more general.
Not having stybar in my team I guess I can be thankful that porsev was also added to the list. Was surprised to see him score 13. Greipel on the other hand scored me 0.
He must have gotten himself over the finishline unaided before going to hospital.
As for the points, there is a prime example why we don't use none official site......

I have to agree with you... For the record, at least from my end, the truth is I have absolutely no qualms about using the official site for scoring... That is very thorough and professional of you... I think the only time I feel fairly, if not completely, confident in using PCS is for their 'Confirmed' start lists for a race... I think thay are more (!) than reliable when they put that green check mark beside a team, otherwise, maybe not so much, but if I see a green checkmark beside that team, I feel certain those riders are riding... they're pretty good about that... Wiggins at the Eneco tour was an example of that... But I, for as much as I love PCS, mainly because it's one place to visit, instead of going to each race's website, applaud your stance about using the 'official' site... I just think it's ok to use PCS to populate a game start list as early as possible, which will be revised anyways, and I think they're a great starting point, as was the case with Eneco, especially if you can't (!) get a 'provisional' start list from the organizers of a race... So good job, G! But don't get me wrong, I for one, am only advocating the use of PCS for getting a game roster going... For the rest of the stuff, like the scoring, well, I think you're doing exactly what you need to do! Good job! Have a cookie!
I would have thought being carted off to hospital in an ambulance would have made the rider a non finisher. Is this usual? Maybe if the ambulance has to drive through the finish line.
Not on PCS he isn't.
Where they have missed out the top 18 riders.
Sergent....he's 19th in the points
Think the Eneco weirdly has two points comps; this league scores one of them (I think).
Shouldn't Sergent have scored points for leading the Points Competition?
You're probably looking at PCS, who for some bizarre reason have missed the first 18 riders in the standing, Sergent is 19th. Guardini is winning.
Hmm. Just how hard is Stybar? Tempted to take a pen and give him the heave-ho...
Hard as nails... But here's an update from OPQ...

Oh... It came too soon.. I thought it would last longer... I get to see the scores now!
*behaviour enrique. You sound like you live in New York or summat.
Just to make you all aware. Stybar did finish and will be staying in the startlist

Nice. I'm like a crack addict... When can I start to get my daily fix of the 'We're Currently Updating the Game.' screen? I'm like a dog in Pavlov's lab drooling at the sound of a bell... Where's my screen so I can start clicking 'Refresh' repeatedly?... I need it... Don't deny me that addictive, compulsive behavior, please!...
, Behavior, behaviour, tomato, tomatoe, just don't stop!... please!... Yes! It has started... God! Finally! Yes! I can begin clicking... and clicking... and clicking... I can't help it...
You gotta read this:

What a difference a day makes for poor Zdenek Stybar. This was his inspirational message 24 hours ago: http://www.zdenekstybar.com/en/news.php?id=1208 …
Yes it was a nasty crash for Stybar. Looked very bloody.
PV 1_60.png
Had Mezgec as well, so 2,5,9 is pretty good. Stybar didn't look too good...
I'm assuming a sprint, but don't have a sprint team - so most likely I'll get a few GC points and drop down a bit but have transfers for tomorrow. If it gets messy again then that'll be a bonus! I do have Debusschere and Jans though left over from before.
Greipel has abandoned. B*llocks.
Phew......just need Mezgec to follow suit now
Think I know my team for tomorrow's stage already. Gilbert going back in as is Stybar and Grivko.
