Bardiani always seems to have 3 or 4 riders for the same goals that make it a big guessing game trying to pick the right one.
2,3,4,9,17,20 for me, wrong Bardiani rider. Still no idea why I didn't bring McNally in for stage 2 - I almost always bring in the stage 1 KOM leader for stage 2 in a one-week tour. Call it burnout.
Amused by poor old Hugh Porter's repeated surprise at the "unknown" Italian rider winning the stage, he obviously didn't watch the Trentino. At least it stopped him from having to struggle on with his attempts at pronouncing Bongiorno. His knowledge of the Brits is very impressive though.
