How about an Elliptigo? To bulky?
I saw a chap outside the Bricklayers Arms in Shoreditch with one last Friday... so there is one around the UK. No idea who he was, sadly.
Seems I've been unsuccessful getting Mrs. N. back on a bike of any sort. I'd hoped to get her on a good electric assisted no. with a low step thru frame but she is adamant she'd lose her balance getting up onto the seat (bit of a knee problem and a little arthritis).
But she likes the idea of a Zike, a sort of growns up scooter powered by a nordic stepping mechanism (see link). http://zike.net/
Does anyone have one she could have a little go on, as there is no U.K. importer and we are loathe to import without a try. I saw one a couple of months ago on a cycle event based around Aylesbury but the rider may have come from anywhere, or not even part of the event.
Any help much appreciated.
