Suunto Smartsensor with Movescount on Android????
Just bought a Smart sensor and have failed to get it to work with the recommended Movescount App. All I get is constant heart rate for the entire duration of the ride. Examination of the Excel export file shows that the app correctly records heart rate up to the point movement starts and then stops updating it. So for example on a 2 hour ride, I get heart rate recorded while I am pushing the bike out the garage, I get correct speed, height and map for the 2 hour ride, but I get whatever heart rate I have when I initially get on the bike, for the duration of the ride, which is of no use to man or beast.
I am now caught between Suunto and the dealer, the dealer pointing to Suunto, and the Suunto helpline refusing to respond (apart from an initial auto response). Poor customer service on both parts.
Anybody any ideas?
