"Light can switch between front and rear - utterly useless"
I find it handy. When I put my lights back on it doesn't matter which goes where. If I'm using a "big" front light I can use both as rears, so either one as a back up or one set to flash and one a solid beam.
Some of these questions were daft - I don't have a smartphone and if I did, I wouldn't care if my bike lights talked to it!
9's all round.
warn me of potholes ffs, I have eyes otherwise I couldn't ride my bike. (Besides which, to prevent killing the battery, highlighting smooth roads would have less, if any, battery drain). And I can look up for hyper local weather. Is it April 1st?
Question 8 needs the ability to put "9" against nearly every option!
When 1 is most desirable? You don't want any of those features?
Road Imperfection Alerts - I have eyes and would be constantly going off on british roads...
Crash Alerts - perhaps useful, not worth £100 to me
Hyper-local weather alerts - better then the met? better than looking at the sky? doubt it.
Dimmed option for group riding - I don't ride in a group so useless to me
Battery Low notifications to your phone - my phone is in my zipped rear jersey pocket while riding so useless
Light can switch between front and rear - utterly useless
Theft detection mode - Bike stays inside flat and never left unattened outside so useless
Ability to create your own flash pattern - completely and utterly useless
Navigation light provides feedback for turn by turn routes - I know which way i'm going, again useless
It's like a non-cyclist came up with things they thought would appeal to cyclists.
Done. Probably not the answers they wanted though.
