You couldn't make it up... wait, you don't have to, it springs forth organically from the ignorance and bias of a certain class of political backwater candidate.
Chiswick's a nice area despite the traffic, and would be even nicer without it. The pavements are wide and tree-lined, but as Martin Amis put it, if you want to get to the other side of the road you have to be born there.
