Recommend Fast &Comfortable 28mm-32mm Road Tyre for Hardpack?

The bike I got comes with schwalbe marathon plus 25mm, The ride isn't the nicest when you hit some hardpack paths or bad tarmac nor is rolling resistance.

Can anyone recommend some good tyres that are suitable for very light off road (bad tarmac/ hardpack paths/very light snow) has got excellent Rolling resistance and specially GOOD comfort levels? ( durability is important as well of course).  I do not need off-road tyre, but something that will at least handle some light bad roads/conditions.

Looking for something that comes in 30-32mm real life size as that's the max my frame will take. (want the bigger width for more comfort and ability to run them at lower pressures)

I have heard that the GP 4000S II in 28mm size comes up to like 31mm in real life and are very very good rolling

What are some other as good/better tyres for such purposes and that comes up in larger sizes like the 30mm-32mm?

I've ridden with Sector 28s and now with G-One Speeds 30mm, both tubeless. They're both great tyres.

Sector is as tough as old boots, was my experience, with maybe a question mark against wet grip. Very long lasting, I had to sell the bike they were on to get rid of them (lol).

The G-One Speed is flat-out fast and very comfortable. I've ridden events like the P-R inspired Tour of the Black Country on them, those events have 10 - 30km of unmade road, and the G-Ones were fine. They're not invulnerable however and the fine tread soon shows signs of wear.

I use Hutchinson Sector 28s run tubeless at 40 psi [on 21m internal width rims] and they are amazing. Fast on road and incredibly capable off road. Designed for the Paris-Roubaix originally which is alot more brutal that anything you mention wanting to ride itaa. Really comfy too. No need for going bigger for the surfaces you mention. Heck I've even passed loads of folk on their FS MTBS at Sherwood pines with these tyre on my CX bike.

Stuck a pair on my girlfriend's bike to repalce her skinny road tyres and her comment was 'Wow, it's like having suspension' But without the weight etc.

I havent tried them yet but Ritchey Alpine JB 30mm & 35mm look really good. Specialized Roubaix are on my list too just to add another option

Probably not overly sensible but I did over a mile on Veloflex Masters over hardpack this week. Pretty sure I could hear a craftswoman weeping gently into her chianti

Continental Sport Contact in 32mm width are cheap, reliable and fast rolling.

They'll happily survive being ridden over hard-packed gravel.

A mate rode LeJog on a 28mm version of these without issue or puncture.

I'm running 32mm Schwalbe Marathon Supreme at the moment and have been pleased with them - 1600 miles with little sign of wear, very fast rolling (5/5, Highly Recommended by bicyclerollingresistance.com) and I've used them off road on the gravel tracks around the Elan Valley. They're a very different tyre to the Marathon Plus for sure - less than half the weight for a start. They have a lowish TPI which means the sidewalls don't roll around too much, which I like - used to ride GP 4 Seasons with their high TPI and I invariably thought I had a back wheel puncture on every ride I did.

Panaracer Gravelking - either the file tread version or the SK one. True to size at 32mm and my SKs are maybe 1% slower over a long stretch of my former commute than 25mm GP4Seasons. Did Ride London on them. Will handle hardpack very well indeed - even light/thin mud.

Hutchinson Sector 700x32c - built for the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix. Sublime ride. Tubeless ready too.

This!

The Sector tyres are great, especially tubeless.

+1 for the G-One Speed, excellent tyre in almost every respect, particularly when set up tubeless. The only negative is that it's not the most durable of tyres.
