Yeah, i kept Hushovd in for tomorrow just because i think stay decent in the green ranking, then he's gone so i can afford 2 decent AR's rather than one

That 20 min person is injured I think, or still not recovered from the last race or something, but that team is having a great tour, but don't see much of it being dedicated to their seriously injured member. I also have "not a clean team" at the back of my mind for some reason, so tend not to pick them. stupid huh.
Bugger it, i'm starting changing for Tuesday, so Hushovd comes out to give me points to play with.

Ah ha, got you, i do have his book, but never read it as i'm not a book person

But i picked his team mate who may just try a break to get the white jersey

mmmm I have fofanov but he was 50 secs down today. I put him in because he was 4th on the same stage in 2008.The one Ricco won and was then dq'd. But he didn't show today, you would have thought if he had legs he would have supported vino.
My gut feel that millar might go for it, he is sitting nicely and quietly maintaing his position, and will not have to protect farrar. I don't think Hushovd can carry the yellow into the rest day, with 3 cat 2's, but he was brilliant today. The theres the very quiet moncoutie, but he and voekler may hold off till 14th July, and all the other french.

Well guess who got rid of Gilbert and Uran for guys who barely scored. . . oh well. . . I feel like GT, up near the top and then losing 20 place after one bad day . . .

Well my tip for the break is the closed rider to 20 mins down, so i've drafted him in as i think Movistar will try back to back break away wins

I dont know who Millar's mate is, but my french man that i was toying with putting in and didn't was Sandy Casar

I dont know who Millar's mate is,

Ahhh, good pick, very shrewd, he certainly has a history for it. You'll have to go out and buy Dave's book, former teammate, also has same initials as him. 39

Sure a GC rider will probably win it but including the combativity prize there are 45 points up for grabs. All of which are going to go in the breakaway. I've taken a risk for this one although my team did OK today at the GC end so I've added a few reknowned break away specialists with an interest in the KOM. The rider I'm most worried about tomorrow is French and an old mate of the bloke in 9th. 16

Hoogerland won't win, he might try hard all day to win the KoM points but he's not a great climber and if he gets in a breakaway with some better climbers like a few of the Euskatel boys he won't take the win.

I've taken a risk, taken Vino out for someone who might just go on a break away tomorrow with the think it should stay away as long as a big gun isn't in there and Movistar almost did the same in the Giro didn't they? break away win then the same nearly happened the next day?

I really want someone like Ten Dam or Mollema to go away, but they wont be because Gesink is having a hard time, so Rabo's stronger riders are hanging back to help him out

So Vino better just be suffering tomorrow after he let me down today 19 19 19

If anyone's interested odds for tomorrow are:

Philippe Gilbert 3/1
Edvald Boasson Hagen 11/1
Thomas Voeckler 12/1
Cadel Evans 16/1
Thor Hushovd 16/1
Alberto Contador 20/1
Alexandre Vinokourov 20/1
David Moncoutie 20/1
Jose Joaquin Rojas 20/1
Damiano Cunego 33/1
Jerome Pineau 33/1
Johnny Hoogerland 33/1
Jurgen Van Den Broeck 33/1
Rigoberto Uran 33/1
Samuel Sanchez 33/1
Sylvain Chavanel 33/1

Personally I doubt Gilbert will be up there for another day, same for Vinokourov. Chavanel also looks in terrible shape.

I'll 2nd that with those 3 and also add Hushovd wont stay with them, Rojas can't really climb, Pineau has looked awful this year, Sanchez and Van Den Broeck are staying "un-noticed"

Hoogerland is a good shout if he's not knackered from all his efforts, but i aint brought him in

Voeckler might get a chance, BUT i think its going to come from a break again, thats why i've picked a cheaper AR and a decent climbing/break away DS

For me, the big question is who is going to lay down a challenge for the KoM comp. It's the first stage with serious points available and it'll be interesting to see if Charteau can compete again this year.
