61 for my purist and only 82 for my stage hunting, 99 points off winning anything and my purist team is slipping away, from 4th the other day to 27th now.....people coming from nowhere to overtake me with guys in the breaks
Well, swapping Froome and Nibali out for Cavendish and Goss worked well. Pfft.
112 today thanks to Urtasun and Impey. Disappointed Goss didnt make it over the hill as i would have had a cracking score.
I have to say though Wiggins' acceleration was impressive to catch Sanchez. If he does go on to win the tour i can see Sky doing a full lead out for Cav in Paris - that would be impressive seeing Wiggo leading out Cav to the line, its not that often you see the yellow jersey getting involved on the final stage.
He's expensive for those 10 points though, I did better with Impey, my backup in case Goss didn't make it over the last hill.
Someone in the game has signed a deal with Kern as he's last again
My stage hunting team will have done alright 1 in the break (who won the inter sprint) and 4 in the top 16 plus Evan's got an extra points for the climb
But I would have liked Sanchez to hold out for my purist team

You won't be surprised to here that that was another fail for me. Stage hunting is much more difficult than I thought it'd be.
You've taken some wicked penalties to do it, but to be honest your scores aren't much better than mine and I'm not trying for stages yet. Will have a go at 17 and maybe 20 though.
Got Urtasun in the break today, who won the int. Also had Impey and Simon (in for Szymd) 5 and 6 with Sagan, Zub and Froome. Pinot gets a few points. Vichot's done nothing yet but haven't got the transfers to get rid of him, just changing stars till the rest day. Had Voeckler as the obligatory Bastille day rider and he tried but just didn't have it. Would have had Goss in any case so no harm done.
I wonder how many people had Greipel today, not his normal kind of stage but Lotto are really strong. Bak doing the hard work. Surprised Wiggo didn't go on and contest the sprint, who knows what he could have done, but I had Froome instead so I'm glad he didn't.
Stage 15 is a little bumpy with a 4, 3, 4 30k back but none are as steep as the one today. Wonder how many people will go for Cav. Don't think I'll risk it in this game but stage 15 is my bonus stage for Halfords so I'll be going full out for a bunch sprint and hope I get it right.

wiggins the leadout man!!! cool speed injection.
Grippel
Sagan
Hosen Bagen
Wiggo, I hope your ipod or something breaks tonight
He just thundered it for EBH and caught LuLu
Greipel took it from Sagan
GO LL GO LL.......This is YOURS and just what I need
Just as I typed that, Sagan appeared right at the front. Pace has been killed off.
That climb was a killer, If you are not near the front, you are going to struggle because of the wind factor.
Goss, Cav and most of the other sprinters spat right out the back....No word on Sagan yet though and not caught sight of the jersey.
Woop - 2 in the break! Hoping for 25 points from the intermediate... (plus a bit more from Goss and Sagan)
Sagan
Goss (in for Wiggins)
Sorensen (for tomorrow I hope!)
Dumoulin (in the break)
Bouet (ditto)
De Weert (ill-advised gamble a few days ago that I can't get rid of)
Boeckmans (in for Szmyd, who was same as above)
Jeandesbosz (fingers crossed for tomorrow, could be his kind of break)
Pinot
Sag
Cav
Chav
Zub
Cant
Pineau the wrong one
Casar
simon
Jeandesboz
No one up the road again.Bastille Day pah
In Today:Sagan and Cavendish
Out Today:Wiggins and Nibali
Zubeldia
Sagan
Cav(sounds like not many have him so hope he beats Goss)
Gerrans
Albasini
Izagirre
Pinot
Edet
Vichot
Was interesting to see the Boeckmans vs Greipel spat
I'm still on purist, so my team looks like this with the abandon's out
Bradley Wiggins (SKY)
Luis Leon Sanchez (RAB)
Peter Sagan (LIQ)
Andriy Grivko (AST)
Giovanni Bernaudeau (EUC)
Gorka Izagirre (EUS)
Kris Boeckmans (VCD)
So need Sagan to do something and Boeckmans to take up the sprint to get back at Greipel
You think you've got it bad, my purist teams lost 5, Gesink, Poels, Hesjedal, Lloyd and Westra, down to the bare bones
Looks like green edge are bringing it back for the int sprint
Even worse.....i brought in Gallopin for Bastille Day and he abandons
No-one in the break either
Gilbert
Chavanel
Sagan
Zubeldia
Gallopin
Edet
Cantwell
Pinot
Vichot
yeah got Engoulvent in today's break, like most people wanting Goss and Sagan to slug it out!
Then back to the mountains tomorrow.........
For the first time in this tour i have someone in the break in Urtasun and guess who got rid of Pineau last night for Arashiro as i thought it was his type of stage for a break
Mind you i think Greenedge and Liquigas will bring it all back together at the end.
Picked four French breakaway specialists for today... none of them is in the break x(
Hoping that Goss doesn't give up on the green otherwise I wont be getting as many intermediate points as I'd like.
