Tour de France - Stage 7, Montpellier > Albi

Morning all!

So what's the plan for today?  The previews I've seen all seem split between a Sagan sprint, a Cav sprint or a breakaway with no real consensus.

Given that Impey holds the yellow I can't see Orica-Greenedge letting a break go if there's anyone close in the GC but you never know.

I'm not making any changes because it's so unpredictable but I have an itchy finger and might bring in Sagan for Greipel.

Nope, considered him but stuck to my original plan and changed nothing so I have 6 transfers for tomorrow.

Pretty annoyed with myself though as Voigt should be worth at least 24 points (3 points for each of the first three climbs plus 15 for the sprint) and might have a chance of the stage win (unlikely). Might have been worth a cheeky Gerrans for Voigt tranfer.

I had this nailed on as not being a sprint 39 which is why I made no changes yesterday and lost a shed load of points. So I axed Kittel for today with my one transfer looking at a break.

Gerrans
EBH
Sagan
Kwiatkowski
De Gendt (for Kittel)
Mederel
Bono
Gutierrez
Fischer

Apparently (according to one preview) Jens Voigt has some mates down to watch the stage today, could he be a good shout for the break?

I'm level on points with Dave, and had 8 riders the same yesterday! Can't help thinking someone is hacking into the system and copying me...

Sticking with...
Sagan
Greipel
Kristoff
Kittel
Gerrans
Le Mevel
Hoogerland
Muravyev
El Fares
So 4 free transfers tomorrow (will probably make 5).

Have a totally unjustified sneaky feeling that I'll have someone in the break today. 4

Having just watched sky sports news Cav quoted as saying should be a nailed on sprint that his team will want!?

Yes - lots of guys more than 10 mins off yellow now, so could see the break stick. But I'll stick my neck out and say bunch sprint. Same result as yesterday would be great, but maybe some of the pure sprinters might have less in the tank after the hills.

No transfers for me anyway - expecting to drop a little bit today and then make 5 changes for tomorrow...

If I had one more credit I could afford to bring in Impey for Kittel, so I'm quite glad that decision's made for me as I might've been tempted...

Been to Albi a few times, lovely place. Looking forward to some nice helicopter shots of the river and cathedral.

I think the day will all come down to Greenedge. If the break is no threat i see it staying away. im sticking purely because i need my transfers for tomorrow although i too have pondered bringing in Sagan but would have to make 2 transfers to justify it 39
