It's the wrong time to buy bikes. Wait a month and they're all price-fighting towards black-someday and xmas. All shops are currently increasing their pricing so that they can give substantial discounts later on... It's just how the market works.
How is a falling £ a Canyon rip off? And yeah, wait until next year's clusterfuck kicks in, the whole world will be ripping us off.

Definitely. If you're thinking about a new bike, buy before the end of the year.
Or buy one of the myriad of bikes that will appear on the secondhand market when winter kicks in....not everything cleared off the shelves this summer is going to be kept....
