Car crashes into building - please post your Local news stories
Running this one up the flagpole to see who salutes...
I just don't remember this being a thing until recently, now it seems a daily occurrence.
Could it be that there are drivers not up to the job, too many cars; should houses be made to ride in single file, shops put on high viz, why are we putting newer buildings in danger like this, it's irresponsible.

'A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "Dorset Police was called at 12.48pm on Thursday, August 13, to a report of a collision involving a car and a wall outside Iceland on Poole Road in Bournemouth.
"It is reported that the vehicle was also in collision with a pedestrian, but they did not require medical treatment." '

A car crashed into a cafe in Colwyn Bay, causing "extensive damage" shortly before 9pm on Thursday night and drove off. The cafe owners posted on FB that "a car reversed through the door and adjoining window of the café causing extensive damage to the framework and contents and they then proceeded to drive away." In this case bonus points because it was next to what looks like a shared use path - and a sufficiently wide road - in late 2022.
But maybe not wide enough for parking? Or a bus lane? I don't know the reason but looks like the A53 may have got bigger so now the bottlenecks are elsewhere... (was that on here a while back)?

Pretty sure that planter shouldn't be there and it look like the red Biffa bin, after the low wall, may have borne the brunt. But it's quite a distance this driver has covered from the road.
