How many people really just travel somewhere and then just randomly pull into a B&B or guest house on spec. without having at least checked to see what's there and what availability they have, if not booked ahead?
It's the same with the Salisbury City Centre Pedestrianisation proposals - "we need people in cars rat-running through to support us", say retailers.
Back to the seaside, how about:
"Tony & Sheila welcome you to Rosedale, a sustainable guest house, with a car-free space right outside, enjoy peace and uninterrupted sea views and beach access via cliff path..."
And here's now.
Just to be clear, none of the vehicles is parked unlawfully.
Here's old.
