Is there a government grant to help with the cost of lycra cladding removal?
Or the increased cost of lycra cladding due to BREXIT
FFS. Have you ever heard of walkers described in a news story as "gore-tex clad"? Or joggers as "lycra clad"?
No, because lycra clad is part of the lexicon of cyclist-bashing.
A3 doesn't go near Woking, but as recall there is a hard shoulder all the way from Guildford to New Maldon, at which point it got very scary very quickly.

Google Maps disagrees.
Lycra is a very poor cladding material. Clothing it is perfectly acceptable for though.
I don't think the term "lycra-clad" has ever been applied to cyclists other than as a pejorative out-group epithet, and certainly not in the MSM. To that extent, why is it being used by the BBC, funded by public subscription?
What they seem to fail to get is that most sportswear, and most jeans have Lycra in them now, so there are probably more Lycra clad people not cycling than actually cycling....

It may be legal but is it wise?
