Here's a photo of the bike!
Can you PM someone on here?
Sorry to hear about this. Have you posted on @stolenride on twitter? Good luck - miracles do happen sometimes.
Thanks, Steve - fingers crossed!
Yes, I posted to @stolenride in the small hours of this morning while I was struggling to sleep over this.
Gutted for you, know the location well and it's just awful that someone can go and brazenly cut a lock in a high-footfall area and take a bike unchallenged. Posting to @stolenride was the right thing to do, also as others have said do check Brick Lane (and also eg Facebook Marketplace). The Met sometimes recover what can be big hauls of stolen bikes, I'm guessing you've filed a theft report. Fingers crossed it is found soon, I know how gut-wrenching this can be.
Sorry to hear that, not a common bike to see around so I'll certainly keep an eye out as I ride around London.
It can be worth checking Brick Lane market on a Sunday, lots of stolen bikes from your area end up there. I wouldn't suggest challenging the thief yourself if you see your bike but there's usually a copper or two in the vicinity whom you could ask for help.
Thanks for the tip! Will check the market out.
Yes, I don't think I've seen anyone else with this brand of bike around in London since I moved here a few months ago. Which has me worried the thief will either break it down into parts to sell, or paint it some other colour...
