Alex Dowsett from the Perfect Hour videoAlex Dowsett back in training for Hour record attempt
Alex Dowsett is back training for his scheduled Hour record attempt at the end of next month, just one week after breaking his collarbone when he crashed on his bike.
Yesterday, the 26-year-old’s Movistar team tweeted photographs of Dowsett, who underwent surgery at the Royal London Hospital on Thursday, showing him riding on a home trainer.

In a video released by Movistar on Friday, Dowsett said the surgery had gone well and that he, his team and sponsors were “trying as hard as we can to make the Perfect Hour on the 27th of February still work.”
The record attempt is due to take place on the evening of Friday 27 February at the Lee Valley VeloPark as part of the Revolution Series and tickets can be bought here.
