Video: Danny Stewart rides Scotland's skateparks - and pulls some top tricks

Look mum, no hands ... or feet ... 20-year-old dirt jump rider tours venues in quest for air

There’s a little voice in the back of the road.cc collective mind nagging us that this isn’t the first trials video we’ve seen that features a (current or former) Edinburgh-based cyclist called Danny …. Nah, it’s gone. Hopefully we’ll remember later.

Irrespective of who the other bloke is, here’s 20-year-old pro and former British champion dirt jumper Danny Stewart showing he doesn’t lack skill when it comes to whizzing round a skate park and throwing in some top tricks while he’s at it; look mum, no hands – or feet.

The action starts outdoors at the Saughton Skatepark in Edinburgh, and when that doesn’t prove challenging enough, he’s off indoors to the Transgression Park, reopening imminently in Dalkeith in what will be its third premises since being established in Leith.

Finally, in the quest for more air, it’s off down the M8 and Lanarkshire to finish off the video, produced by ExploreMoreMedia, at East Kilbride’s Zone 74.

Oh yeah, Danny Mac … Nope, it’s gone again ….

This guy is good.

I used to like the Transgression skatepark at Leith and rode there many times with my sons - this new one looks good. I've not been to Saughton, too many neds and it's concrete, which isn't my favourite.
