Police are appealing for information after a number of bikes belonging to cycle training company Go Velo were stolen from Trawden, near Colne, in Lancashire this week. The bikes, worth more than £23,000 were taken from two storage units and many featured distinctive Go Velo branding on them.
Go Velo offers a range of cycle training courses throughout Lancashire, including through the Bikeability and Go-Ride schemes. As well as visiting schools, instructors also offer on-bike training and maintenance courses to adults and private groups.
Police say that the theft took place between 8pm on Monday 16 February and 8am on Tuesday 17 February with between 15 and 20 high value bikes taken, as well as camping equipment, tools and bike stands.
“That was 6 years of very hard work they have stolen from me,” said Kirsti Grayson, who runs the company, on her Facebook page.
PC Mark Wilcock of Burnley Police said: “Many of the bikes stolen were of a high value and if anybody has any information at all with regards to where these bikes are now or can tell us who is responsible for the burglary then please contact police.”

Hopefully she won't have to, as he's been found guilty his insurance company will have to pay up for her injuries; she'll only have to go to court...
