In our latest haul of cool things, we have an integrated carbon cockpit from a brand that you might not have heard of (yet), a groupset that threatens to take it to Shimano and Sram, my new shoes, a folding lock that looks particularly practical and a radar tail light from a brand that will be looking to undercut the competition...

Farsports F1X Handlebar ($499 ~£390)

In previous years we've had our reservations about buying handlebars from China, but we've recently seen an increase in reputable brands such as Farsports.

Jamie is currently testing its F1X integrated handlebar and stem, which features a 75mm reach, 127mm drop, and a -10 degree angle. It also includes a computer mount as standard.

The F1X is compatible with most modern bikes that use internal cable routing, though it’s worth checking the full compatibility list to be sure.

They’re available in widths ranging from 360mm to 420mm and stem lengths from 80mm to 140mm. Our test model measures 380mm wide with a 120mm stem, and tips our scales at 329g including the computer mount.

Another contender from China is the L-TWOO eRX Road Electronic Hydraulic Disc Brake Groupset which could be one of the most cost-effective ways to upgrade your bike to electronic shifting.

The L-TWOO eRX is a 2x12-speed wireless electronic groupset designed for road use. It features dual control levers with carbon brake levers and hydraulic braking and the system uses a fully wireless electronic shifting setup.

Is L-TWOO's offering worth abandoning the big brands for? Dave is putting this one to the test and will be reporting back with a full review soon.

> Best rear bike lights

Radar taillights combine radar technology with a rear light, alerting you to approaching vehicles before you can see or hear them. While the Garmin Varia RTL515 has been the dominant player in this space, other brands, like iGPSPORT, are gaining traction in this growing market.

The iGPSPORT SR30 claims to detect vehicles within 150m, slightly outperforming the Garmin Varia RTL515, which has a quoted detection range of 140m. In real-world testing, Iwein found this to translate to impressively far away.

The SR30 Smart Radar Taillight also offers multiple light modes and charges via USB-C.  Paul is currently testing the SR30, so check back in a couple of weeks for a full review.

'Sold Secure rated' isn't particularly informative without mentioning the actual rating (in this case the lock is Bronze rated).
