Video: Slippery When Wet - Danny MacAskill takes on polished granite

Back in the mists of time (well, about 25 years ago), I was a cycle courier in Melbourne and one slightly damp morning I 'dropped' my bike at some considerable speed in spectacular fashion on the marble flagstones outside one of the tall office buildings… I wouldn't condone cycling on the pavement, but the effect on the morning commuters walking to work was fairly impressive as my bike slid towards the reception doors… it happens to all of us

You are joking when you start with "Scotland is home to the Granite City, Aberdeen. It’s also home to Danny MacAskill, who hails from Skye, a little over 200 miles away."

Thats like saying someone from Bristol must be a hipster cause England also has Shoreditch the home of the hipsters 118 miles away.

Surely a comment on something along the lines of:
"Hailing from the Isle of Skye, you would presume Danny MacAskill would know how to deal with riding in the rain. That didnt stop him coming a cropper on a recent trip to Amsterdam where...."
Would be more appropriate. (I do realise my grammar and punctuation can equally be atrocious but I don't run a cycling news website).

That is the worst introduction to an article I've seen in a long time.

That's the Homomonument on Keizergracht, a memorial to LBG victims of the holocaust. Not sure it's the wisest choice of location for performing stunts.
