#mycyclingweekend 7 - Spring is here!

It is for us down in the South West, at least. Your mileage may vary.

Mitts, shorts, sunnies... Spring was kicking off down in Bath this weekend! And looking at your shots from around the UK (and further afield) it looks like many of you were treated to the blue skies and well-above-freezing temperatures that we enjoyed. And plenty of you send great images in to prove it.

Once again there was a huge range of pics coming in on twitter, Instagram, the site comments and facebook too. Up top is road.cc product reviewer and beard sporter Jez on his way to Cheddar across the sunny Mendips. And let's run through some of the other pics we received. You can look at all the Instagram pics by typing the #mycyclingweekend tag into the excellent findgram, and on twitter just head over to this hashtag search page.

It's not Good Friday yet so we shouldn't technically be munching on hot cross buns, but there's no doubt they'd make an excellent ride food, and the Chapeau! team were busy scoffing them mid-ride this weekend.

Cycling's a serious business over in Bristol, as you can see from this pic by Andy Parsons

You're trusting your luck a bit running a bike event on a Welsh beach in March, but howies Battle on the Beach was treated to wall-to-wall sunshine. It was still windy, obviously... Our own Dave Arthur had a crack at it and you can see a video of his first lap here.

road.cc reader ct was also there and took this great shot of the mass start. That's a lot of bikes that'll need stripping down this week!

Further afield there was plenty of activity too. It doesn't look as if Spring is springing much in Mongolia at the moment, and they're still in their Winter series. Conditions look challenging...

Over in Bangaladesh, however, it's paddling weather...

...and over in Brazil Enda Bigarella decided it was time for a bit of bike blessing at the Zu Lai Buddhist temple

Japan's looking nice too. Or at least, this ice cream is. Or at least, quite nice.

Up in Northern Britain it was such a nice day that Ross Wood rode his bike until there wasn't any road left...

...and Simon Willis looks like he had a grand day out too

Andrew Parkes took his mountain bike and pointed it up Snowdon, there's still a bit of snow hanging about on the very high ground.

There's still a fair few winter colds hanging about though. So this pic from Gareth Hammond will probably be familiar to some of you.

That's all for now! If you've got pics you want to show off just upload them into a comment below, or post them on twitter or Instagram. We'll be doing it all again next week.
