Tour de Yorkshire flythrough video released

Film showcases stunning scenery and historic buildings on route of next month’s three-day race

The Tour de Yorkshire starts three weeks today, with a host of top riders from Britain and abroad taking to the region’s roads for three days of racing that are bound to evoke memories of last summer’s spectacular Grand Depart of the Tour de France.

The race is being organised by Welcome to Yorkshire and ASO with the support of British Cycling, and a flythrough video showcasing some of the stunning scenery and historic buildings on the route of the three stages has now been released.

The race opens with Stage 1 from Bridlngton to Scarborough on Friday 1 May, followed by Selby to York on Saturday 2 May, and concluding in Leeds, with a stage starting from Wakefield, on Sunday 3 May.
