My condolences to Mr Boucherat and to his family.
The slaughter continues ……………. When will it end?
RIP.
There but for the grace of God.
RIP.
That is awful. My condolences
Another tragedy, RIP and condolences to the friends and family.
In just the same way that it's NEVER the time to call for gun control in the USA.
SAME invalid arguments.
I thought road,cc had a 'no comments' policy for this type of report. All rhetoric aside, condolences to the family friends are all that should be offered here!
Condolences to the family, should they read this thread - the time and place for rage against the cars is not now.
Another sad loss - I am sure she will be sorely missed.
I think it's much more appropriate to offer condolences, another sad loss!
It might be more appropriate, but it is a measure of the lack of confidence in the system.
How many drivers break the law, how many drivers are really held to account for their actions.
RIP,
I wish this was unusual and that I wouldn't read virtually the same story next week.
A tragedy. We should immediately investigate:
-Was she wearing a helmet?
-Did she have lights on?
-Was she wearing hi-vis?
-Was she cycling fast?
-Was she an experienced cyclist that never wobbled?
-Was her bike taxed and insured?
If the answer to any of the above is "no" then the cyclist is completely at fault irrespective of all other circumstances.
