Five great cycling deals on Bibshorts, Bars, and a BMC bike

We bring you five of the best deals from cycling's online marketplaces

All of the B's in this week's haul of cycling bargains from across the internet, courtesy of the diligent DealCatcher.

Of those B's we're bringing you bibshorts galore (well, three pairs from Morvelo, BTwin, and dhb), bars of energy from the savvy nutritionists over at Science in Sport, and an absolute bargain of a bike from Evans Cycles who have slashed £1800 off their BMC Timemachine Road Bike.

If you're going to make savings, you've got to start spending. So, scroll down, and spend away!

Wiggle

51% off dhb Vaeon Roubaix Pro Bib Short
WAS £64.99 NOW £32

It might feel far away, but as popular culture will let you know quite readily, winter is coming. Often, the best time to start preparing for winter, especially from a financial perspective, is the middle of summer.

So, if you're all stocked up on summer bibs, it might be worth your while looking ahead six months to those chilly January months in the saddle and splashing out now on this pair of highly insulated dhb bibs.

Our man Stuart Kerton reviewed the longer bib tight version of these shorts a while back and got on very well with them. So at £32, it's hard to see how you could go wrong, really.

Science in Sport

30% off GO Energy Bar Bundle
WAS £10.99 NOW £7.69

The nutrition nerds over at SiS are back with more deals this week. Here they're slashing the price of their GO Energy Bars to keep you going on your rides.

With this purchase you'll get the full range of flavours on offer from SiS. So if anything, especially at this price, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to work out whether you get on better with Red Berry or Chewy Banana.

Evans Cycles

31% off BMC Timemachine TMR01 2015 road bike
WAS £5800 NOW £4000

Having just obliterated the field mounted on their very own BMC Timemachines, the BMC Racing Team appear to be very happy with their bikes.

And now, you could too, for way less money than usual.

Over at Evans Cycles you can get your hands on one of these aerodynamic flying machines for the significantly lowered sum of £4000, what are you speed freaks waiting for?

Decathlon

43% off B'TWIN 520 Cycling Bibshorts
WAS £34.99 NOW £19.99

Oh Decathlon, the home of quality products for very little money. The French sport retailer have struck again, slashing the price of their already fantastic value B'TWIN 520 Cycling Bibshorts by 43%.

Zovelo

33% off Morvelo Stout Bibshorts
WAS £89.99 NOW £59.99

If you took advantage of Zovelo's cut-price Stout cycling jersey which our DealCatcher caught last week, you might want to take note now.

Here you can complete your beer-rific set. The Stout shorts from Morvelo are a comfortable and stylish option, especially if you're really into your beer. And at £59.99, you can't go wrong for a decent pair of bibs.

Wiggle currently selling Castelli Free Aero Race bibs in all sizes at 45% off, which seems like a good deal to me.

There's one small problem with the wiggle offer. They only have them in extra small.

There's quite a few good deals at Decathlon at the moment, I ordered a pair of the 520 bibs last week along with some heavily discounted winter gear. Buy winter clothes in July and summer clothes in January to save a fortune.

Absolutely! & buy components in September when last year's must-have derailleur is 1/2-price. Etc. Isn't capitalism wonderful?
