Great cycling deals from Genesis, Northwave & Ass Savers

Three dealers have weighed in with half price deals on bib shorts, some life-saving mudguards, and 36% off a disc break totting bike

The DealCatcher is back from what looks like it could have been the last summery weekend of the year with a load of cycling deals to see you through into the proper autumn.

Topping the list this week is a bargain Genesis from the guys over at Hargroves. 36% off an Equilibrium Disc 10 is nothing to scoff at, especially as it's a bike that will see you through the colder months so smoothly.

After that Chain Reaction are slinging two pairs of bib shorts at you, both at 50% reductions. Those deals are followed by Wheelies offering of a 40% discount on an Ass Saver mudguard - a piece of kit most of us here at road.cc have in our commuting bags, just in case we're caught short by a shower.

The colour options for that discount are relatively limited, however, Wheelies currently have huge discounts accross their entire mudguard range - check them out, here.

Hargroves Cycles

36% off Genesis Equilibrium Disc 10
WAS £1099.99 | NOW £699.00

When you're thinking about steel road bikes, many of your minds will immediately jump to British manufacturers Genesis.

This beauty of a chromoly frameset, finished with British Racing Blue paint job, and topped off with Shimano Tiagra, Fulcrum Racing Sport Disc CX wheels, and TRP Spyre0C mechanical disc breaks will see you through the winter months.

If we're being honest, the bike will see you through the summer months too, and every month of cycling you have left in your legs. We reckon you should get it while it's cheap. Seriously.

Chain Reaction Cycles

50% off De Marchi Leggero Bib Shorts
WAS £99.99 | NOW £49.99

Bibshorts are multiseasonal. And, as far as we're concerned, you can never have too many - especially comfortable ones.

This number from Italian cycling clothing manufacturers De Marchi, fit that bill nicely, and at half the price.

These are lightweight shorts, so they're perfect for racing, if you fancy taking to the cyclocross courses over the next few months, or if you're looking for a end of season bargain to look forward to slipping into in six months time.

50% off Northwave Force Bib Shorts
WAS £39.99 | NOW £19.99

Fellow Italian manufacturers Northwave are chipping in with their equally discounted bibshorts.

The Force bib shorts feature bi-elastic fabric which give them great resistance to pilling, and will last for a deceptively long time given their relative cheap price.

Wheelies

40% off Ass Saver Mudguards
WAS £6.99 | NOW £4.19

Finally, head over to Wheelies for a bargain on a product which we already consider to be something of a bargain.

The 40% discount only covers the blue models, so if blue's not your colour, you'll have to shell out the extra couple of quid to get your greedy hands on the colour of your choice.

Alternatively, check out Wheelies other discounted mudguards. There are some big bargains to be had.

Northwave link is wrong. I think it's this one: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/northwave-force-bibshorts-ss15/rp-pro...

Also link para on the homepage makes reference to "disk breaks".

I sometimes wonder if road.cc is published by someone just sitting on their sofa at home, blithely tapping away on an iPad whilst trying to keep up with what's happening on Loose Women.
