A motorhome used by Team Sky is currently on sale on eBay, with bidding currently standing at more than £30,000.
The vendor owns the service centre where the vehicle, a Eura Mobile ACTIVA 820HS 3.0L Tag Axle Motorhome, has been maintained, and is selling it on behalf of Team Sky.
It may not be quite as well appointed as the Death Star – as the Team Sky bus is nicknamed – but it is pretty well kitted out nonetheless, including six berths, a kitchen, shower and toilet, plus of course, a large bike rack and plenty of storage space.

You won’t be able to turn up at the Tour de France hoping to blag a prime parking spot though, with the seller saying: “Please note that the Team Sky and sponsors logos will be removed after the auction ends or when the vehicle is confirmed as sold,” although “a photo opportunity for the winning bidder can be arranged before this happens.”
Should you wish, you can, however, leave the riders’ names – including ‘Froomey’ and ‘Wiggo’ according to the picture in the gallery, which shows Sky’s 2014 line-up.

Given the motorhome’s provenance, however, it may well be something that proves attractive to a domestic or especially a continental team (it's worth bearing in mind the vehicle is left-hand drive) – in which case, it would be their own riders’ names going there.

The seller, eBay user jefflewis7, adds: “This is a one off auction, good luck and happy bidding. You are bidding to buy, not to kick tyres. Be sure you are able to complete the transaction before entering a bid please as timewasters will, regrettably be reported to eBay.”

Nice! That absolute price seems like a great deal.
I'm was looking at a campervan and wondering how much does a van conversion cost https://van2b.com/how-much-does-a-conversion-van-cost/. We waited 6 months for used van prices to drop. Didn't happen so we decided to order new. Used 170WB Sprinters AWD were going for like $50k with over 60k miles.
Given it's nearly ten years old now, I imagine it's depreciated a bit.
Now relisted because he was getting to much press coverage and I'm guessing Team Sky wasn't very happy

Just what I need. Left hand drive as well. Just a little too large for me.
