The London Bike Show will return to ExCeL London this February, running from Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th.
This year’s Show will be bringing special guests and the latest gear from leading cycling brands to appeal to road, mountain bike, urban and family cyclists.
Over 300 confirmed brands will be in attendance, including Cannondale, Boardman, GT Bikes, Scott, Hoy Bikes, Enigma, Specialized and many more of the cycling’s biggest brand names, as well as several large cycling retailers.
The Cycling Performance Theatre will play host to a stellar list of special guest speakers from across the world of cycling. Previous guests include Great Britain’s most successful Olympian, Sir Chris HOY, 3-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond and downhill MTB legend Steve Peat.
Added to the line up will be a brand new international MTB freestyle competition, Air to the Throne. Featuring 30 of the world’s best freestyle mountain bikers, including home favourites Sam Pilgrim, Daryl Brown and Matt Jones, the gigantic AT3 course will push the riders to their limit as they battle it out for a chance to win the €10,000 pot.
For MTB fans looking for a place to relax, the Hot Seat bar will be situated overlooking the course, serving a variety of drinks and screening MTB films throughout the duration of the Show.
For cyclists looking to fine tune their performance, the Surrey Human Performance Training Hub returns to the Show offering visitors the chance to book an intensive 1- 2-1 session with one of the Institute’s experts. During these exclusive sessions, participants will undergo a full fitness and technique analysis, before receiving a personalised professional training plan.
There will be a wide range of bikes from the world’s leading brands available for visitors to test on the Test Track, with road, commuter and electric models being on hand. This is as well as a dedicated kid’s test track, where younger ones can try out the latest bikes on the market.
Proving a huge success in 2015, StreetVelodrome returns once again to give visitors the chance to get involved in the action-packed thrill of track cycling, in the world’s only pop up velodrome.
The Extreme Action Sports Tour area allows visitors to see breathtakingly skilled stunt riders, the Daily Demons.
The Workshop café offers the perfect place to unwind during the day, as well as getting useful maintenance and bike-care tips from Cytech’s expert mechanics and trainers who will be on hand throughout the Show.
A ticket to The London Bike Show will also gain visitors entry into three other events that are running simultaneously; the Triathlon Show: London powered by Honda, The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show and the London International Dive Show (Saturday & Sunday only).
Adult tickets for the Thursday or Friday cost £15 each including booking fee, with concession tickets at £9.00 including booking fee, children 8 and under are free and 9-16 year olds cost £3.00 including booking fee.
