For some of you it was wet, for others it was absolutely bloody freezing, but neither of those things stopped you lot from following our advice and having a stellar time doing it.
What was our advice, you ask? Well, it was to head out on your #mycyclingweekend ride with the people you love - your partner, your best friends, or your cycling club!
You headed out in your troves. We received loads of photos of you lot having a great time, even in the most miserable of circumstances. Who knew getting a puncture, or suffering some sort of mechanical misfortune would be such an enjoyable experience?
Check out the faces on Instagram user Frenchie888 and Richard Stevenson - they don't look too frustrated in their predicaments. Friends'll do that to you.
Away from the misfortune of mechanical failures, you lot look like you had a wonderful time this #mycyclingweekend.
Instagram users brownrachael and daveb85 took to the roads with their partners. Despite pretty miserable looking conditions, the faces on the four of them prove that there's no such thing as bad weather - just good company.
Dazcalvert on Instagram took to the roads with the Longstanton Wheelers, and by the looks of things had a great time.
Jamesmcmeez and lushworks also posted photos of their grouprides on Instagram. None of those featured in their photographs look like they let the cold get them down.
And our very own Mark Cantwell, also of twowheelsbetter.cc fame, took a break from trails and fat tyres. He took to the roads on little skinny tyres with Rich Keith under particularly pleasant looking skies.
Of course, cycling can be the perfect escape, too. That's what's so wonderful about the sport that we all love so much.
There were plenty of you who spent your #mycyclingweekend at one with the environment around you, and as a result sent back some spectacular photos of your surroundings.
Remember, it's not too late to get involved in the #mycyclingweekend fun. To send us a photo simply upload it to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the #mycyclingweekend hashtag attached, and we'll see it.
Happy riding!
