Chain Reaction Cycles, the world's biggest bike retailer, is back on road.cc with a DealCatcher that should help you set yourself up for the ominously dark commutes ahead.
Today's DealCatcher has a couple of bikes from Ghost and GT alonside a selection of lights and a fluorescent waterprooff from Funkier.
Without further ado, here are the deals:
GT's Grade Alloy, available over at Chain Reaction for under £650 right now represents fantastic value if you're after a wet weather commuter, a weekend warrior or a disc-brake equipped bike to see you through the colder months.
The bike's ligtweight aluminium alloy frame and carbon fork complete a lightweight and responsive bike, while Shimano's Tiagra group set keeps everything ticking over.
Where the GT Grade above features disc brakes, the Ghost Nivolet uses brake calipers but only weighs in at 8.7kgs.
Perfect for bashing out the miles on the weekend solo or with your club, the Nivolet's a lighter, potentially more comfortable option for longer days in the saddle.
Lezyne's KTV Front Drive is a road.cc favourite.
Several of us in the office keep a pair of these knocking about for commutes that catch us by surprise.
Our own Mike Stead loved them so much he gave them a 9/10 in his review.
A slightly more expensive alternative to the KTV is the Zecto, also from Lezyne.
It pumps out a little more light and is a bit bulkier.
If you're a Garmin buff, this light should certainly be on your radar.
Connect it to your Garmin cycling computer and all of a sudden you've got the most convenient rear light ever.
You'll be able to turn it on, change light levels, and even change the illumination pattern directly from your cockpit.

Finally, in case you hadn't noticed, the rains are on their way.
Couple the rain with darker evenings and you've potentially got a recipe for disaster.
You can do something about that, though. Investing in a decent hi-vis on-bike option is a good place to start.
Funkier's W-1317 jacket is a 100% waterproof nylon, features reflective piping alongside its hi-vis colouring. There's a fold-out-able bottom flap to protect you from spray too.
