Tour de France 2017 route presentation streamed live from 1030am

Join the stars of cycling in Paris as next year's parcours is unveiled...

Some of the biggest names in cycling are in Paris this morning as the route of next year's Tour de France is announced at the French capital's Palais des Congrès - and you can follow the proceedings live as organisers ASO stream the event worldwide.

Officially, we know that the race will start with a 13=kilometre time trial in the German city of Düsseldorf, and finish three weeks later on the Champs Elysées - though as usual, seasoned route predictor Thomas Vergouwen has been filling in all the blanks on his VeloWire website.

You - and the 4,000 people watching the presentation in the auditorium in Paris - can find out if he was right from 10.30am UK time by watching the live feed via Daily Motion, as well as on the Tour de France's website and its Facebook page.

Well, that's my week in France sorted for next summer.

I'm already dreading climbing the Izoard from Briancon.
