...and if the bike was worth over £1000 it would fall outside the remit of the blanket consumer credit licence which covers the scheme and the employer would need their own CCL at a cost of about £700.
Depends on their contracts - only employees paid via PAYE are eligible, so if the riders are paid in one off fee payments or are contractors, then they wouldnt be able to use the scheme...
Serious question (well, semi-serious): are UK teams like Sky eligible for the cycle-to-work schemes?
