To celebrate Boardman is running a 10% discount on its Elite range of AIR road bikes.

The range covers high performance road bikes for men and women all the way up to elite level racers.

If you're happy that you've got your dream bike's trimmings all sorted and you're only after a frame, Boardman has discounts on those too.

Doing the London Revolution my front derailleur cable failed just before boxhill. Halfords were running support and gave me a Boardman 9.0 to ride. When I handed in the bike at the next feed station the chap proudly asked what I thought of it. I was polite at the time, but I can't say that I enjoyed it.

though I think the Boardman's are excellent for their price range, and their very top stuff is lovely to look at.

Ok, so it's the elite - tell me a shop who wouldn't give you 10% if you walked in with 1.5k in notes. All I'm saying is it's a nothing deal.

Can't get these through Halfords. The Elite range is only stocked by independents. Although Boardman bikes are owned by halfords it is run as an independent company.

Robertoegg have you looked at the top bikes in a Halfords. My Boardman FS pro is £1500 new and you wll struggle to find a better spec'd bike for the money. Rub out boardman and put a "named" brand on the side and its a £2.5k bike. The margins are small on the good stuff. 10% off is not bad on these, they only go 20-25% at and of line.

The 10% off with your British Cycling card discount is a bit bobbins as well. Half the staff have never heard of it and the half that have work it out in their head because the till can't do it automatically and end up knocking a random amount off that's never quite 10%.
