Dockless bike share firm Mobike has threatened to pull out of Manchester due to vandalism and theft. The company now operates in more than 200 cities worldwide, with other UK operations in Newcastle, Oxford and parts of London, and says it has not encountered anywhere else near the levels of theft and vandalism it has seen in Manchester.

9. Hundreds ride in Central London to protest cyclists' deaths and call for safer streets
A major junction in Central London was brought to a standstill on Monday evening as hundreds of cyclists came together to protest the latest death of a bike rider in the capital and call for safer streets. The protest, organised by London Cycling Campaign (LCC), saw riders come together at the location close to Holborn Underground station where Dr Peter Fisher was killed last week in a collision with a lorry.
