RIP. Really is a fabulous place to spend eternity.
one of the nicest bits of road there is so not a bad place to go....RIP fellow rider.
For his family and friends, they can at least take consolation that he died doing something he clearly loved.
This is also a reminder that apparently fit, healthy people can and do die from conditions like the 'Widowmaker' - keep an eye on your diet, know what the signs are and don't ignore them. Get checked regularly - especially if you're over 40 and eat the typical western diet.
Diet is the number one controllable contributing factor here - learn what to eat to cut back cholesterol, notably red meat and dairy. Your family and your heart will thank you.
Too young.
Condolences to his family and friends.
