Our friends at the Belvedere Bike Hotel in Riccione have been in touch with a very special offer, they will give you a €25 drinks voucher to spend at their well stocked bar… if you're a road.cc user that is. All you need to do to get a drinks voucher is click here or on one of the offer buttons that are appearing around the site. Obviously then you'll have to get yourself over to the Belvedere to claim your refreshments but that shouldn't be too hard at all.
The offer is open to anyone booking a cycling break with them between the 5th of March and the 15th of April – so you'll be back in time for the royal wedding, but you'll need to book before the 31st of January.
If you've never been to the Belvedere believe us it's a treat, the food is fantastic and the riding equally superb through the hills of the Emilia Romagna on the roads where Pantani trained.
It's a great place to blow away those early season cobwebs and to do it in style - ideal terrain for a bit of sportive training. There's a whole series of daily led rides that showcase the full range of cycling challenges this beautiful part of Italy has to offer with something to suit all abilities, and you can always cut loose and explore on your own too. Get your dates right and you could even enter one of the local Gran Fondos – check the Belvedere website for details
Better still the Belvedere is a great place to bring non-cyclists with a full programme of activities for them to dip in too plus plenty of chic Italian shopping opportunities too.
Oh yes, and when you're not riding, shopping, drinking coffee and spending your €25 voucher at the bar (where you can also get coffee or snacks too) you can relax in the Belvedere's spa and wellness centre… the relaxation suite is fab as are the sauna and ice fountain.
All sounding pretty good huh? Did we mention the Belvedere's fleet of De Rosa hire bikes including the new R838 and the King 3 RS? Well you are in Italy so why not treat yourself. On the other hand if only your bike will do the Belvedere offers a courier service to get it there and back with the minimum of hassle. They also offer free transfers to Rimini airport which is served by low cost Ryanair flights from Liverpool, London, Bristol and East Midlands airports.
We spent a few glorious days at the Belvedere last year as part of our Italian road trip packing in some truly memorable riding and some equally epic meals… and every cyclist should ride up to Urbino for a coffee and a pastry at least once in their lives.
Thoroughly recommended.

i had a wonderful holiday at the Belvedere last summer and highly recommend it. Great cycling, a really nice hotel with very welcoming staff and truly fabulous food.
What a pity you have to spend more money to be able to take advantage. What with visits to San Sepulcro and Marco's home and cemetary i am fairly familiar with the area and also the accomodation available. Giro passes up this coastline quite regularly so this is a bonus for those considering riding in this area.
