One off Tweed Run Pashley Clubman being auctioned for charity

Pashley have produced a one off version of their Clubman bike for those dapper cycling types at the Tweed Run which is being auctioned off on eBay for charity.

The bike which features chromed fork blades and gold lining to the head tube lugs plus special Tweed Run 2011 graphics. It's the Urban spec Clubman and features Major Taylor style handle bars finished in Brooks leather tape plus a matching Brooks Swift leather saddle. Gearing is a Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub matched up to a 46t crankset. The bike is a 21.5 in - yes, Pashley still measure their bikes in imperial, anyway that's 54.6 in metric so we're talking a medium sized here.

All proceeds raised from the autction are going to bikes 4 Africa a charity that provides bicycle to help African children living in remote rural communities get to school more easily something that can transform the lives of kids that often have to walk for hours through in scorching temperatures to make the daily journey to school.

Not only will the winning bidder get themselves a very handsome bike they will also get two places on the next Tweed Run in London on April the 9th a 10 miler taking in - pretty crucial because the Tweed chaps are rather hoping you'll come along and pick up the bike… so don't ride there if you win.
