Well we're Appled up to the max in these parts except for the iPhone and the iPad. All the stats I can find though do say Android phones are outselling iPhones by upwards of 2 to 1 and accelerating - which is why we always ask developers whether they've done got an Android version - seems mad not to serve the bigger audience.
My only downers on the iPhone are battery life, rubbish camera, and the biggest which is that the screen is a piece of cheap crap that scratches really easily + whenever we ask Rapha if they are bringing out an Android version of one of their iPhone apps they say that currently it doesn't fit their customer demographic
Android does not outsell iPhone 3 to 1. Not even close. But many are sold because they are cheap. Yet only one Android phone manufacturer is making money. That would be Samsung. The rest are losing money. Google themselves make more money by far from iOS than Android. App quality and selection is far worse on Android. Few developers make money from Android. Android has malware and massive fragmentation issues. It's just a really poor copy of iOS. It's only redeeming value is you can buy an Android phone cheaply. It always amusing to see how obsessed Android buyers are with the iPhone. though. Just be happy with what you have even if its the cut rate version.
The official figures were 2-1 at the tail end of last year, but i believe that has increased, just cant find more upto date stats. But there will always be apple fanboys i suppose.

Now that i can understand, Mac's are great for design and that side of things. There is a market Apple has nailed. If i was still recording music, I'd have a Mac
I love that Rapha are saying that, It just shows, people with money and no sense always buy "the best" products
+1 for an Android app.
Iphone apps are much easier to develop, thats why people go to them first and then work on Android. But with Android outselling Apple at getting close to 3-1 now, its about time people woke up
Not true. Both have their development plus and minus. I've done both. Fragmentation is a major issue for Android developers but a bigger issue is nobody buys Android apps.
Yes, we're asking about Android… does anyone use iPhones any more?
Cool thanks!
I much prefer my HTC to the iPhone tbh.
yes, loads. Especially as you can get the iphone 3 on cheap contracts - plenty of people will prefer the Apple brand to a better spec android phone at the same or lower price. Still using my 'ancient' 2 year old HTC desire here though, no plans to change until it falls apart.
np, fair enough. Not really something you'd need to access mid ride though and you need a helper to get accurate measurements of your own body!
The one I linked to has plenty of options and will email you the figures so you can print or keep them on file, I used the results to choose my frame and stem size for a build and also adjusted the saddle position following the advice.
Fair comments. I just like stuff on my phone as I am always asked questions by friends/family as they think I am some kind of expert (sadly I am not!)but an app like that would help keep the myth alive!
Super D' - try this one (web based)
