How many cyclists can you fit on a postage stamp?

More Royal Mail recognition for Britain's finest Olympians...

For the first time, the Royal Mail has issued new stamps on a Sunday to celebrate the six gold medals won at the Olympics Games on Saturday, and the world-record-breaking women's cycling team pursuit medalists Dani King, Joanna Rowsell and Laura Trott are on one of the stamps.

The special edition collection brings the total number of gold-medal stamps issued to five - a reflection of the stellar performances of Team GB's cyclists.

Bradley Wiggins was honoured for his individual time trial result, as well as Victoria Pendleton's gold medal win in the Women's Cycling Keirin final, Ed Clancy, Geraint Thomas, Peter Kennaugh and Steven Burke’s gold medal win in the Men’s Cycling Team Pursuit final and Sir Chris Hoy, Jason Kenny and Philip Hindes have won a Gold Medal for Team GB in the Men’s Cycling Team Sprint final.

All stamps are available to buy online and at selected Post Offices.
