Lance tweets for more ride partners – this time in Dublin

Lance Armstrong has been at it again, tweeting himself up some ride partners – this time in Dublin. Traffic police and rush hour drivers in the Irish capital, not exactly noted for its free-flowing traffic, will be on high alert especially as this time Lance has given potential rider partners a whole day to get organised for it.

Three hours ago the cycling star ‘tweeted’ the following on the free social networking site Twit-ter: Good morning Dublin. Who wants to ride this afternoon? I do. 5:30 pm @ the roundabout of Fountain Rd and Chesterfield Ave. See you there.

Armstrong has been in Ireland for the Tour of Ireland, which was last weekend, and he will also be hosting an international Livestrong cancer summit in Dublin Castle this week too.

It follows on from Armstrong inviting Scottish cyclists to join him on a 60-mile ride in Glasgow last week using the same method, and at very short notice 300 turned up.

But with Armstrong issuing the invite north of the border with just a few hours to spare, the fact he’s left people a whole day to get themselves organised, and given the pulling power of Lance, there could well be hundreds more.
