Cycling safety will be the focus of the second of six sessions being held by the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group today as part of its inquiry into how to ‘Get Britain Cycling.’
Topics to be addressed will be include road safety, speed limits, driver behaviour, cycle training, liability, cycle theft and the role of the police.Those topics will be addressed by three panels of witnesses, as follows:

The inquiry, which is part-funded by News International, owner of The Times newspaper, is due to publish its report in April, and the other four sessions scheduled to be held are:

In London, my suggestion is, put the congestion charge up to £100 a day. That would get a few people on their bikes.
