Family of cyclist killed in collision say the world has been 'robbed' of a loving, caring mum

This is heartbreaking, my thoughts go out to her family and friends. Stay vigilant people. I was hit side on by a range rover back in December. Luckily there was no serious injury to myself, I was more gutted that my brand new bike was damaged. The driver was so genuine at the scene and promised to pay for all damages, even offering to replace my bike! He even tried to tell my witness that it was unnecessary for her to get involved. He wrote down his details and told me to call him. The next day I called to discuss and he told me to go through his insurance and hung up on me! I went through a no win no fee solicitor and it's still ongoing as he won't admit liability. Wish I would've just called the police at the scene. There are some proper lowlife scumbags out there driving their big tanks around who do not care about the vulnerability of cyclists.

It could be any of us! We haven't been told, but it's a pretty safe bet that the Range Rover hit her, rather than the opposite. Big Black Range Rovers are deadly, especially when they have personalised plates and protection from the police. F2 YNY here charged through the lights at 50+ 1.4 seconds after they turned red. No response and no action from Lancashire Constabulary. I'm complaining about that, among other red light offences, and Lancashire Constabulary is operating a desperate 'go-slow'. Interestingly, there's another Big Black Range Rover F1 YNY in the vicinity. How safe is the bet that these 2 Big Black Range Rovers will be parked outside the same Big House near Garstang tonight?

PS The vehicle was considerably further back towards the camera when the lights turned red.

Sympathies to Louise's family and those that knew her. It's just not fair.
