I hope this person is banned from driving. Using a vehicle as a weapon must surely be illegal, even in America.
I imagine SUVs are even more popular in the US than the UK, and it's scary to think that there are people around who are prepared to drive them into people.

"Medic, medic!" Didn't know it was a warzone.
You obviously have not seen many videos from protests in America the last few years then?. Anyone who does one nowadays needs to ensure they have assigned medical personal to help against ramming cars, indiscrimenent night sticks or rubber bullets / tear gas firing or Milita men firing paint balls or illegally held assualt rifles into the crowd.
What should tehy have shouted I wonder. "civilian skilled in first aid, civilian skilled in first aid!" doesn't seem to have the same urgency.....
The driver shouldn't have done it but the cyclists need to remember it's still a public road and vehicles have a right to drive through.
You're joking, right?
this "person" is a troll don't reply please. There are two others on this site (at least) you will recognise them and please don't feed them either.
They have a right to protest, a peaceful protest! That is not superceded by anybodies "right" to drive.
Nobody, nobody, has the right to use their multi ton vehicle as a weapon and use it to drive through people.
I don't care how much you disagree with their protest, or how inconvenienced by it you are. Although I suspect this has more to do with inconvenience than an informed extreme disagreement.
Been on the chocolate milk again eh?
With a large side order of Skittles....
How long are you going to let these muppets spew their bile road.cc?
Indeed Road CC, don't you have any mods: I am sure some of us here would be happy to do so for a free set of kit.
Lets get rid of the Trolls (you know who they are) so we can get back to actually debating the incident rather than being derailed by morons.
Imagine thinking they'd give you anything for the job. They want people like this, they drive engagement and interest!
True....click bait drives sites like this.
However, trolls drive hate which pushes people away from the site meaning overall, the site will lose clicks and die.
It's not "bile" and I have every right to state an alternative opinion.
Its upto the police to arrest slow moving traffic, people should be out trying to kill someone because theyre going slow
What??
You believe that on a public road "vehicles have a right to drive through" human beings?
Dude, I don't know whether you were trying to be funny, but either way stick to the comments section of the Daily Heil.
I'm really not quite sure how to take that. You're clearly not a cyclist, but are you even a human being?
Perhaps you should consider deleting your ridiculous comment, now!
Vehicles do not have any rights to use any particular stretch of road, neither does a driver. In fact, the driver needs a licence, and if you don't comply with the rules of your licence (i.e. obeying traffic laws) then the authorities have the power to remove that licence and therefore them from the road. I hope this driver loses his permanently as like you he doesn't seem to understand the basics of right & wrong let alone the finer details like the fact it isn't a vehicle, but a driver, a person that's both responsible and in the wrong here.
Do you understand the basis of a protest? without cuasing harm, or damage, some level of inconvenience is required to get the message.
You can protest but make sure no one is inconvenienced seems like a strange position to take.
Yet another American domestic terrorist incident?
He should "Stand Down and Stand By"
Proud Boys have every right to stand up for the USA as a contrast to what
Antifa do.
One is simply not a proper dictator without a willing cadre of well armed jack booted thugs who can operate outside of the accepted norms of policing by consent at one's beck and call or, to coin a phrase, dog whistle.
Do you know who Proud Boys actually are?
When you say stand up for the USA you mean stand up for the USA minus the women.
You know that saying: when in a hole stop digging.
So I take it that if you saw a protest in New Zealand that you didn't agree with, maybe something against the facists supporting "him" from last year, that you will just drive your car into them not caring if you cause any serious injury and / or deaths. It is their fault for protesting and getting in your way.
His vehicle will have a right to drive through....
