At road.cc every product is thoroughly tested for as long as it takes to get a proper insight into how well it works.
Our reviewers are experienced cyclists that we trust to be objective. While we strive to ensure that opinions expressed
are backed up by facts, reviews are by their nature an informed opinion, not a definitive verdict. We don't intentionally
try to break anything (except locks) but we do try to look for weak points in any design. The overall score is not just
an average of the other scores: it reflects both a product's function and value – with value determined by how a product
compares with items of similar spec, quality, and price.

heh. he'll die trying i'm sure
good point about the adjustment though. duly noted.
But can he laser etch an 'S' into a stainless steel threaded barrel for less than £7.99?
you don't want to challenge shaun to anything like that. This is a man who makes his own waxoyl, for goodness' sake
The point about these is that they allow you to adjust cantilver brakes and to slack them off to take the wheel out, which static hangers don't (unless the brakes are well off the rims anyway). For that reason I fitted one of these to my Van Nicholas Amazon in place of the supplied hanger, which had no adjustment - I had to source it from the USA at the time. Its very nicely made and I defy anyone to 'fabricate a replica in minutes using scraps from the spares bin'.
