The Primal Pixel8 Women's Cycle Jersey is a bright, bold, good looking jersey. You make a statement in this, which I like, especially commuting in the traffic.
The fit tallies with Primal's blurb. They describe it as a 'non-restricting sport fit', which is spot on. It is a comfortable, non performance fit, so if you don't feel the need to be in tight lycra then this could be a good jersey for you.
The jersey felt good when riding. The non-restricting fit meant good ventilation and the fabric's wicking properties draw moisture away from your back. I wore a hydration pack on several longer rides and didn't feel sweaty. The fabric is light weight, slightly stretchy, and soft to the touch. It's also rated as SPF35, which is great for the summer.
The length was good, but the Pixel8 doesn't have any grippers on the hem. This does allow you to move as you wish without the jersey grabbing you.
There's a full length zipper down the front that I like especially in the summer so you can get some air flow. There is no cover at the top of the zip though, and while this wasn't a problem in practice it's a surprising missing detail.
There are three generous rear pockets which are well placed for good access to phone or food. There is a small zip pocket which would fit a key and keep it secure. There is a small reflective detail on the top of the centre pocket.
Overall I enjoyed wearing this jersey for its comfortable fit, and I do like the bold colour pattern. It sits in the mid price range at £50, not the cheapest but not expensive. It comes down to the fit you want.

Sizing was as expected, I am a medium in most things. This is a comfortable cut, not a slim performance cut, so if you want it tighter go for a smaller size maybe.
