As the name suggests, Attaquer's All Day bib shorts are designed for long days in the saddle and feature an incredibly soft fabric and super-comfortable chamois. The fabric itself is rated at UV 50+, so will help protect you from the sun if you're out in it all day. The shorts are really well made, with flatlock stitching creating a comfortable and durable construction. The only real downside is the price: they certainly don't come cheap.
- Pros: Great looks, incredibly comfortable chamois
- Cons: Old school hardened band at the leg opening, pricey
To my mind these are some of the best looking bib shorts out there – good enough to rival the likes of Maap, Rapha and Assos – and the fit is superb. They are supportive around the groin but do not rub, tight and slightly compressive around the thighs.

The body of the bibs comes high enough up that my midriff was never exposed, even if my jersey were to ride up. The straps were unnoticeable, not digging in or rubbing. They're constructed of a mesh white fabric that does take up sweat but dries super-fast.
I found the leg length just right – not too long, not too short – but I'm not a fan of the hardened band at the leg opening. (It's very similar to that of the old Rapha Pro Team shorts, if you're familiar with those.)
It does a great job of stopping the legs from riding up but also digs in slightly. It's not enough to be uncomfortable, just enough to notice – hindering the look of the shorts rather than the comfort. I much prefer the silicone gripper to be added directly to the material of the leg of the shorts (like Attaquer does with its Race Ultra+ bib short); it just seems to yield a better fit and overall look.
Performance
There's nothing to complain about regarding performance. They're super-comfortable, fit really well and dry fast in the rain. The key to a successful piece of clothing is that you eventually forget you're wearing it, and that was the case with these bibs: they just allowed me to get on with my ride in comfort, and that's all I could ask for.
An important element of this is that they have a particularly comfortable chamois. The difference was noticeable when I swapped to my winter bibs or skinsuit – they're just not the same. You feel very supported in all positions, from upright on the hoods to getting aggressive in the drops.
The shorts have an internal pocket – a nice little feature to have, but not one I ever found myself using.
Value
At £169.95 they are certainly a pricey pair of shorts, and up against some established premium brands. They're more expensive than Le Col's Pro Bib Shorts and Castelli's Free Aero Race Bibshorts, both £150, and Sportful's Total Comfort bib shorts are £130. They are cheaper than Rapha's top end Pro Team Bibs at £195.

They're also up against some much cheaper options: Rapha's Core bibs come in at £100, while dhb's Aeron bibs are only £75 with the credentials to punch well above their weight.
Summary
Overall, these are an extremely high-quality pair of bib shorts that would see you through a good few seasons' riding. They're very comfortable (though they could do without the hardened band at the leg opening), but as good as they are, the price tag is a bit of a sticking point with so many high-performing and great value bib shorts on market.
Verdict
Very comfortable pair of bib shorts, but with a hefty price tag
