Who actually buys these things? Who finds winter layering with seperates that much of a chore? I mean, even the most easy going club is going to mercilessly mock you for turning up to a club run in this. Racers generally wear club/team kit don't they? The internet would have me believe that Cyclocross riders that aren't in team kit favour eye-melting designs. Is the target market "epic" riding loner Mamils?
Aha!
It turns out that this is who I thought it might be (and one of 2 likely places, the other possible location was on Anglesey, which looks very similar) :

I spent far more time trying to guess the location of the top image than the remainder of the article. It makes me think "yeah, gotta get out somewhere like that" (though not so sure about the "high-intensity winter riding" bit!).
Much as I like plain black, IMHO it's not a good choice if you want to be visible.
but does it come in Rapha pink?
Why wear all-black kit on an overcast winter day?
Why not?
I got one for my boy

I'd wear one if I had the figure for it..

Well Rapha already copied the San Remo summer suit so it was only a matter of time until they copied the Thermo suit.
And the Castelli suit was on sale a couple months back for £180 cheaper. Which is a combined Gabba 2 top with Sorpasso due tight versus that fugly Rapha ninja pyjamas...
So, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? However I think the Castelli Thermosuit is about £100 cheaper, but can't see much more difference between the two.
settles down...
