Shame, I quite liked the whole Howies brand / ethos and have several of their items. Won't be bothering with this one though.
And no I'm not in a fan boy tizz I just don't see the need, especially as most if not all of the other tshirts are inspirational / motivational needing little explanation whereas this one stands out in it's negativity and needs a paragraph to explain it. Just seems a bit odd even if it is intended as a bit tongue in cheek.
"Chris Froome is set to kick off his 2018 race season today in the Ruta del Sol, the first time he will have turned a pedal in anger since his failed drug test last year for abnormally high salbutamol level in a urine sample taking during last year’s Vuelta a España but not made public until it was revealed by the Guardian and Le Monde"
That's a really impactful opening paragraph; if only it made a modicum of sense and was mildly accurate!
Awful t-shirt!
Good to see industry jumping on the bandwagon to make a profit from the situation.
Oh, no. Can't be that, it's Howies...
An unusual slant for howies.
I love the fit and feel of their t-shirts, I've not found any others to match them. Rapanui are nice but different fit and lighter weight cotton (but cheaper and still organic).
Good to see they've given him the benefit of the doubt.
The doubt that the salbutamol level was more than double when tested in both his A and B samples? Sorry pal but them’s the facts.
You are not understanding the rules, this is a good explaination http://inrng.com/2017/12/chris-froomes-salbutamol-case/
You're welcome.
Rather than getting in a fanboy tizz - read the road.cc article, read the howies statement, read what I posted.
I'd wear one.
Ha ha! I wonder if Froome and his wife has blocked them on Twitter because of it?
