I bought a carbon gravel bike a few months ago for a bit less than £1500 once I'd got all my preferred bits on. Having an absolute blast on it.
But tripling the price I paid wouldn't add more than a few % of difference to the performace, and it does feel around £2.5k of the extra £3k is purely for the stickers on the downtube. Appearance-wise, non-plussed and indifferent to all the HR Geiger type twiddles. Apart from the forks, which look just very very wrong.
Odd that they haven't incorporated the suspension system they fit in those bikes they've equipped Team Sky with for the last few Paris-Roubaix.
But this'll be great for that famous-Pinarello-fan Alan Sugar. He can continue to ride his hideous Union Jack Dogma on the roads, then have a flunky waiting for him with a new Grevil for the last hundred metres or so of his gravel driveway.
Regarding the video, are the crackly sounds and flashing lights that randomly accompany about half the cuts between shots a stylistic choice, or the bugs in the video-editing software they seem to be?
That's definitely not David Arthur...
Dave ‘Zeffirelli’ Arthur was on camera and dodgy special effects
Dodgy double post!

Looks like they built the bike out of liquorice and then left it too close to the radiator. Hideous.
