Cripes, just noticed I'm 11th overall in the GC! No idea how I've managed that
A stark contrast to my endeavours Stateside.
(N.B. Also jammed a fiver on Bouhanni to win at 8/1 today! On the downside I had a rotten commute home, include being abused by a pillock in an Audi - always an Audi! - because a cyclist in front of me had jumped a red light).
I topped the fs stage today? you sure?
This is a really really tough one for tomorrow.
Balls-out-of-the-bath time. I've made 6 (six) changes; hopefully none further to make for stage 6. Every rider from a different team, only two Italians...
In for a penny...
4 transfers and some very crossed fingers.
Bugger. All 6 transfers made. A Swift exit for some. Oops.
Hopefully none more needed for stage 6 and 7.
And only 4 for stage 8.
Made my transfers, could end up being a disaster...
Ive kept Bouhanni, Swift, Matthews, Godoy and Chicchi
Food for thought heres the finish profile

There ain't no sprinting going on there!
Made seven transfers.
Had 8 - spent the last three days in poker face mode
I think so, with Twy and I was 3rd (however not sure of every player in the forum these days, so may have missed someone)
WTF!
I swapped out Bouhanni, Swift, Nizzolo, Viviani, Kittel and Durbridge.
Me too. Have probably spent more time pondering this stage than ever before. And then still went on a whim, 6 changes of whom 3 will do for GC, 3 complete wildcards.
I know what you mean on not knowing everyone , just checked and it looks to be correct...
Also got my first lanterne rouge and bookends badges ....makes me wish every stage was neutralized from a fantasy cycling view lol
Just need to decide on my changes now
For tomorrow reckon one or other of the GC guys will have a go, test out the others a bit. Might fancy Uran for that.
Otherwise looks like a stage for those teams who're realistically hunting stage wins. Hesjedal maybe? Can't see much else for Garmin in this tour after the disaster on day one. Also Ulissi, Ponzi, Gasparotto, Pantano, Felline... very tough to call. Stage six does look a wee bit tougher, almost Ardennes-like, so might plump for those at the climb-ier end of things.
I think I jointly won Forum Scorum today with Chiv.
Anyone think Jetse Bol deliberately came last for all us fantasy players who had him in our team?
I'm of the same mind. Just experimented and may change 3 I think.
Only 10 points off the lead in the GC!
Now the real business begins and I haven't a scooby who I'm going to pick tonight yet.
Same im only 20 odd off in 21st, but not got a clue for tomorrow except im gonna drop Kittel, and will keep Swift and Matthews, may even keep Bouhanni.
Ended up with same team as you except Gody who Iwas very close to getting for kom. Decided to go Fischer instead for team amte pts in case Nacer won, and he can sprint too.
1,2,5,10 plus Matthews, Durbridge & Tjallingii for me.
I'm not bothered either way but never realised that there were degrees of neutralization.
In this instance "neutralized" meant that all riders would be given the same time - meant all the GC guys could drop back and not get in the way. Stage result, intermediate points etc still stand.
2,4 & 5
Neutralized as far as road cc is concerned? Or will this stage be scored?
*Confused*
Crashes happen, especially in Italy! I imagine it will be scored as normal.
1 4 5 10 plus Matthews and Durbridge.
Multiple crashes in final 2km
1 Bouhanni
2 Nizzolo
3 Veelers
As if the next 2 days' stages aren't complicated enough already!
No time bonuses for stage finish, so no change in GC
