British Weather...

Before picking stages 2 and 3, have a look at the forecast. Rain and wind in the Dales, heavy rain in London. Stage 1 is sunny intervals and a moderate crosswind, so not massively influential on the stage 1 cavalry charge, but 2 and 3 look like the weather may play a part, especially 2, since a lot of riders don't like cold wet climbs and descents.

There are also some really slippery medieval cobbles around Central london.....they cover them with carpet for the runners in the London Marathon......not sure if there are any on the route though?

And will probably do the same up to Monday 7th July NEXT YEAR.....4 seasons in a day!!

One person always springs to mind on tricky descents over a classics type course(stage 2) in bad weather.....everyone's favourite Ginger Italian.....he's worn pink before and may well want to wear yellow too before it gets too late?
